Notice - 3/10/08 - New month! Well, I've got some bad news, I'll be gone off for a trip overseas for about a month so that means updates won't be coming in as fast as usual. So when I can I'll update but if not, then farewell for a month!

Luckily, with the help of your wolf, family and friends, your life is much more than just work, it's a real game. But before you can become the king of France in medieval times or a pharaoh, you will be a caveman or woman and hunt dinosaurs.

Notice -- Progress Notes -- Synopsis

Notice Board--

  • 29/9/08- Aha! You knew I couldn't stop myself from changing the story name to something better! As you probably would (or maybe not) know, I've again changed the name of the story. Now this is because a few followers of the story email me and said the title seemed to be a bit of a cliche'. Well, I've been getting that kind of email for the past week and I knew I had to do something about it, but the name just didn't come to me, until I decided to give thinking a break. That is when I sat down and read a magazine article, that article gave me the idea for the new name, (not mentioning the magazine name due to copyright issues) the article said, 'When you're stuck on something that you know should not be so difficult to accomplish, think through it briefly and look at the smallest things in it. When you think you've found it but don't believe it could be what you're looking for, shuffle through the possibilities, then you'll see that the smallest things can mean more than just what it is.' That is when I realized, if the (spoiler ahead) stone is in two ages, then possibly it might be two different things. Then the title, 'Dark Stones Of Ages', came to me.
  • 26/9/08- Yeah the weekend is coming! Wow I've been so busy with work these past few weeks that many people I know say I've lost my humanity --_--... Working on these fun to make blogs, writing my novels, preparing poems, and trying to earn some money at the same time... Well I'm sorry to tell them that it's gotta be that way because working towards a long, seeking dream isn't an easy process (check my blog 'Aven Harper The Myx Writer for more info on that). The good news today is that one of the administrators from the human age forum, Angie, has contacted me and given me feedback. 'Thank you for replying and reading my story. I realized that when I reread it there were some grammar mistakes and I apologize for that. = - D.' So now I've done some minor grammar edits to chapter 1 even though I said it was a final product. And I'm almost done with chapter 2. When I've finished editing chapter 2 I'll start on chapter 3 and when that's done expect to see chapter 2 published.
  • 24/9/08- Great! I've finally started writing chapter 2. It's called 'Wilderness Mayhem' and will be finished soon enough. I have one bad news though (also a reminder), I won't publish chapter 2 until I've finished drafting chapter 3 but because of that I'll be working extremely harder to get those chapters to you on time. Okay let me make a promise, in two weeks you will get chapter 2 and a week later you'll get chapter 3. What about that? I know it's a bit long but I'm trying my best and at the same time trying to make the story interesting. So that's all I have to say today. C ya.
  • 23/9/08- Again I have reformatted the blog making navigation easier. I've separated the 'Welcome - Progress Notes (Human Age Info)' post into three different posts. They are i)Welcome ; ii)Human Age Game ; iii)Notice Board.Progress.Synopsis. I've also added a notice on the 'Welcome' post. --- I have posted a topic on the human age forums, briefly explaining the story and adding the website link to bring others to read this blog.
  • 22/9/08- Reformatted the blog, now the progress notes will be the first post the reader will see when he/she enters the blog. I've also taken out the date because that is hardly necessary. There is also a new posting rule that I will use for most of my blogs, from now on all posts with be made on a Friday.
  • 21/9/08- Chapter 1 is officially completed. To those of you who have been following the story I promise that more will come very soon and to those who have just discovered this blog, I say 'this is a story to follow.' In a while I'll inform the human-age players about this blog and when I get enough feedback the story will continue.
  • 15/9/08- After some thinking I've decided that I'll write chapter 2 as a draft and when I have finished chapter 3 only then will I publish chapter 2. Get it?
  • 14/9/08- Last night I printed the whole story and started to manually edit. Also changed the name of the story =-P the other didn't quite match what would happen later on. Chapter one will be done soon so that means there'll be a new post for chapter two.
  • 13/9/08- Wow its been almost 5 months since i updated the story. I've almost finished planning it out and it's going to be quite long so at the same time I'll add short stories here on the notice board.
  • 31/4/08- I've started chapter 1 of the 'Casion in Prehistory' story and will now start planning and working on it.

  • 29/9/08- Changed name of story. 'A Dark Stone From Another Time' to 'Dark Stones Of Ages'.
  • 26/9/08- Minor spelling and grammar edits to chapter 1.
  • 25/9/08- Added link to main blog and email address on the 'Welcome' post.
  • 24/9/08- Reformatted the Welcome post and added a 'My Other Blogs' links section. Started writing chapter 2. Edited all the 'i's to 'I's.
  • 23/9/08- Reformatted the blog. Easier Navigation. Two new posts created. Minor edit of the synopsis.
  • 22/9/08- Added a welcome paragraph to the progress notes. Edited one word in the quick synopsis.
  • 21/9/08- Edited the quick synopsis to reveal more of the plot before hand. Final edit of chapter 1 completed.
  • 20/9/08- Renamed the story again, 'From Prehistory To More' to 'A Dark Stone From Another Time.' Added a quick synopsis. Edited chapter 1.
  • 17/9/08- Started work on character building. Double check planning of chapters.
  • 15/9/08- Finished Chapter 1 briefly. Edited many things in the blog.
  • 15/9/08- Briefly planned out the chapters all over again. (There'll be a new story plot)
  • 14/9/08- Major edit and changed name of story. 'Casion in Prehistory' to 'From Prehistory to More.'
  • 13/9/08- Updated story and minor edit.
  • 31/4/08- Started story, 'Casion in Prehistory'
  • 30/4/08- Started Blog.

Quick Synopsis Below
(Potential Spoiler)

Casion is banished from his new-found tribe after an incident with the mammoths. His foster uncle brings him to aid another tribe, soon he finds himself on a rescue quest to find a missing tribe member. During his search he finds a familiar blue stone which transports him to another era. An empire ruled by a power-crazed empress who is determine to eliminate her competitors and those who appose her. The young man cannot communicate with anyone there apart from an empire servant who speaks the language of the first men and helps him figure out the illusive mystery. When he finds his other companions, from his time, caught in a dangerous situation he has no choice but to deal with the repelling group known as the Medallion. Not long after his choice does he find out that the two ages have collided and now is the proper time when he is truly needed.

Casion will have to find a way back to his era but can he handle what's in store for him? Only time will tell, and even that isn't on his side...
